Promise kept
God will provide the lamb
Abraham offers Isaac on Moriah (2066–2029 BC) to John: “Look, the Lamb of God” (AD 27–29): ~2,060–2,090 years in the Modern reckoning, ~1,900 years in the Traditional.
Abraham tells Isaac that God will provide the lamb; John the Baptist points to Jesus as the Lamb of God.
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Then Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” “Here I am, my son,” he replied. “The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two walked on together.
